Only masters of alchemy and mechanics can build an automaton. It is a machine controlled by a key or a spoken password. It understands even more complex instructions and can even make mechanical things, but it carries out all commands literally.

It is a higher form of golem, but still not a perfect one; only the homunculus is that.

Combat

The automaton knows no fear and has no weaknesses. As its master wishes, it fights defensively or offensively.
