The brown bear weighs up to a quarter of a ton and measures at most two meters. It prefers mountain forests, where it feeds mainly on forest fruits and the honey of wild bees, but it does not scorn game either. It attacks characters only when it feels threatened, is wounded or starving.

Combat

In battle the bear rears up on its hind legs and attacks with its paws and jaws. If it hits the victim and grabs it in its paws, it can knock it down, move into a grapple and strangle it on the ground.
