The chimera is a large and menacing creature with the mighty, muscular body of a lion covered in thick fur. Three heads of different creatures grow from its neck: a lion's with sharp teeth and strong jaws, a dragon's that spews flames, and an eagle's with keen sight that spots an enemy at a great distance. On the crown of its head it has horns from which flames lash when it is enraged or frightened. Colorful wings let it glide through the air and quickly cover great distances.

Origin

Chimeras are the fruit of failed alchemical experiments that released sticky eggs into the world. These cling to anything, even to humans and animals, and are absorbed into the host's body. Inside, a tadpole hatches, attaches itself to the heart and drains the host's life force until a full-grown chimera grows out of it.

Way of Life and Combat

An adult chimera is predatory and aggressive; it hunts constantly to keep up its strength and keep growing. In battle it attacks with its claws and the jaws of all three heads, showers enemies with flames from its dragon head, and thanks to its eagle sight it is very hard to catch off guard.
