Magic vision 20 | Invisibility 5 | Weapon invulnerability 1

This strange snake is made not of flesh but of crystals bound by magic, and therefore it is extraordinarily hard to kill. It is almost invisible; if it wants to hide, it takes on the color of the surrounding ground. It does not attack characters on its own, but if attacked or startled, it bites. Its venom turns the victim into crystal, which it then swallows. Besides its dangerous bite, it is also good at constricting.

It lays crystal eggs, which are highly valued: they glow in the dark and keep doing so for several months, and they can be distilled into roughly three mana crystals. If an egg is kept warm, a young snake may hatch from it.
