Legends are told about the abilities of elder dragons, and their true power may surpass even those. An elder dragon lives for many centuries, has gathered immense experience and enters battle only when it is sure of victory.

It is a master of magic: it commands very powerful spells, often in several schools. Like other dragons it flies, sees in the dark and its flanks are more vulnerable than the rest of its body.
