The frost giant towers to a height of three metres. Its gloomy face is hidden by a long beard, from which only its icy cold eyes peer out. It wears a breastplate of ice and wields a dangerous-looking axe with an icy blade.

Frost giants make life bitter for all creatures in the land of ice and frost: they rob, ambush, torture and kill everything that lives. They hide the treasures they amass in caves hewn into glaciers. They live mostly on meat (ambushed victims, walruses, seals); in need they will eat even lichen. They often band together in larger groups and use tamed animals, especially snow wolves.

Combat

The giant fights only with its magical ice axe, whose hit freezes the victim. The same happens to anyone who tries to take the axe and is not protected against frost.

It is smarter and more cunning than its bigger cousins from the mountains. It can hide under the snow and ambush its victims unexpectedly. If it is sure of success, it likes to play with them like a cat with a mouse.
