The giant bat is a carnivore almost a metre long, related to the common bat. It resembles a giant mouse with wings and dark grey fur. It inhabits vast caves, from which it sets out to hunt at night. Any smaller animal it comes across falls prey to it, as well as oversized insects. Unlike small bats it is much bolder and is not afraid to attack even a human.

Combat

Giant bats are bold and capable opponents, and because they fly, they are hard to hit. They cannot stand light: if someone brings a torch into their nest, they swoop at it and try to put out the fire with their wings.
