Izrods are descendants of people who lived in cursed swamps for so long that today they resemble monsters more than human beings. Fortunately there are not many of them, because they meet and mate only rarely. They feed mainly on meat, although they could stomach other food too. They breathe underwater as well as on land, hardly need to sleep and can go without food for whole weeks.

Combat

An izrod waits patiently for its prey, hidden in the swamp or in bushes. It leaves a group of people alone, but for a lone traveler it is a deadly danger. It attacks from ambush: it drags its victim underwater and drowns it, and if it is far from water, it tears it apart with its teeth on the spot.
