Rahlogs are large pale spiders. They live underground, in mountains and in forests, and in a group they dare to take on even a deer or a wolf. They surprise their prey by leaping from above and bite it with their poisonous mandibles.

The colony is ruled by a queen, who mates with weaker males and every three months gives birth to young spiders; these grow to full size within a year. If a new queen is born, she can challenge the old one to a fight, or leave and found her own colony.

Combat

Rahlogs are basically cowards. They attack only when they have a clear advantage, and as soon as the fight turns against them, they take flight. They fight to exhaustion only when defending the colony and the queen.
