Rahlogs are large pale spiders. They live underground, in mountains and in forests, and in a group they dare to take on even a deer or a wolf. They surprise their prey by leaping from above and bite it with their poisonous mandibles. A colony of rahlogs is ruled by a queen.

The queen mates with weaker males and regularly lays more spiders, which grow to full size within a year. If a new queen is born in the colony, she can either challenge the old one to a fight, or leave and found her own colony.

Combat

Rahlogs are basically cowards. They attack only if they have a clear advantage, and as soon as the fight turns against them, they take flight. Only when they defend the colony and their queen do they fight to exhaustion.
