The raxun distantly resembles a human. It has two arms, legs with curved claws and a maw full of large teeth.

It occurs in swampy and wet wooded areas. It lives in groups made up of an alpha male and a pack of females; the females give birth to up to five live young. Weaker males roam alone or in small groups.

It feeds by hunting medium-sized animals, for example marsh rats or deer, but it also attacks the local natives. It can go whole months without food and then devour an incredible amount. Males are drawn to the remains of their victims: they decorate their lairs with them and not rarely wear a primitive necklace of teeth of hunted beasts and humans. In the lair and around it you can therefore also find things that belonged to its victims.

Combat

The raxun can sneak silently and prefers to attack from ambush. It fights with a club or throws stones. It also commands a little earth elementalism.
