The sabretooth tiger is a relative of the lion and the tiger, but it is much more massive and more terrible. It got its name from the huge fangs with which it bites through its prey. In size and strength it equals a bear, and only the very best warriors can stand against it in a fair fight.

It can be met on plains or in open woodland. It lives in a pack; males also live alone. It is an excellent hunter and feeds on big game, gorillas, lizards and the like; when hungry, it attacks other predators too.

Combat

It attacks with its paws and tries to drag its prey to the ground, where it bites through an artery with its mighty fangs; in wrestling it is therefore especially dangerous. Even a single one is a more than dangerous opponent, but since sabretooth tigers hunt in packs, they pose a real threat to everything living.
