This fat green worm revels in murky, muddy water. It has a large round mouth with sharp triangular teeth and sees even in the dark. Its segmented body is covered with sharp bristles, which can break off in a wound and cause festering and blood poisoning. It cannot move on land.

Combat

It attacks unexpectedly from behind and tries to drag its victim into the murky water, where the victim drowns, sees nothing and often panics. If the first attack fails, it lashes with its tail.
