The urax is a huge dark spider with a body covered in bristles. It lives alone in a lair in the mountains, from which it sets out to hunt at night. In the surroundings of its lair no larger animal stays alive.

It does not mate; each individual produces offspring on its own by laying eggs in the victims it has caught. It feels nothing for its own kind, and if it comes across another urax, even its own offspring, it will happily eat it.

Combat

In combat it is deadly. It can leap an enormous distance (up to ten meters), it has a strong poison and mighty mandibles.

Paralyzing Gaze

Its gaze completely paralyzes its prey, which lets itself be bitten without resistance. Only courage can protect you from it.
