Elder werewolves are very rare, powerful and immensely dangerous. In principle they do not differ from ordinary werewolves, but their long lives have taught them a lot: they hide and fight much better and transform in a flash, even by day. They take great care that nobody exposes them. It is said that they are behind much of what happens in the world, secretly pulling strings that lead all the way to rulers and to other werewolves.
