Xurs are spiders that live in forests, weave webs and hunt smaller game. You can recognize their colony from afar by the shreds of torn webs and the scattered remains of their victims. They are clever for insects and climb excellently, but they are cowardly.

The females lay eggs in spring and xurs multiply incredibly fast: a single clutch can give rise to a whole new colony. Young xurs mature within one year.

Combat

Xurs do not like to attack directly; they dare to only when they outnumber the enemy. Then they try to surround the victim from all sides and bite it or drive it into their webs.
