Eleis - god of heroism
Balance: Order
Inclination: Light
Goals and intentions of the cult
Eleis is most popular among elves and barbarians, but many humans serve him too. From his worshipers he demands honorable fighting and courage, for which he can grant them help in an unequal fight. With their prayers his priests help warriors on the battlefield to ward off fear and overcome adversaries on the side of Darkness.
Eleis can be won over by bravely fighting strong opponents, punishing traitors and cowards, and fighting creatures of Darkness and the cults of evil gods. The emblems of the cult are the lion and the eagle. Worshipers of Eleis bear their images on their banners and shields and sometimes also amulets or statuettes with motifs of these animals.
The temples of Eleis are simple and practically equipped for combat training. In areas where the teachings of Eleis are not welcome, fortresses or castles (duly consecrated) can serve as temples, but they are never hidden.
Weapons
The weapons of the cult of Eleis are heavy swords, maces and hammers, generally all weapons with which one can fight dark monsters effectively.
