Tanalé - Goddess of beauty and joy
Balance: Chaos
Inclination: Light
Tanalé represents the symbol of joy, beauty and feelings, but also of fickleness, inconstancy and luck. She is also considered the goddess of love, although that is not entirely accurate; her domain is rather lovemaking.
Goals and intentions of the cult
The cult of Tanalé is fairly young and there is no unified idea of what its main intention is. In general it promotes beauty and joy, and so her temples are richly and lavishly decorated. Unlike Andril's, however, this is art full of new ideas, not afraid of change. Priests thus have no qualms about having old decorations painted over (even if created by the greatest master) or statues altered to give them a new character and idea. For them a new idea (for example even a tattoo) has greater value than a thousand- year-old portrait. In people they encourage the joy of life and feelings in general. Conversely, they disapprove of pretense, reserve or loneliness.
The temples of Tanalé also hold magnificent celebrations, where they spend the collected donations, and it is even said that some shrines run brothels.
Weapons
Tanalé loves beauty and grace, and so she has chosen two weapons that require perfect coordination of movement: the bow and the rapier.
