Bonuses and penalties
For various reasons a character may gain a bonus (or penalty) to all rolls. What does it mean for it?
Adding up bonuses
Bonuses for feats and premiums are counted without limitation.
For effects and potions, the highest value counts.
Bonuses from items to one attribute add up for all items together, but do not add up with effects and spells. You choose only the greater of them - either the highest effect, or the sum of the items.
Bonus / penalty to an attribute
If you have a bonus / penalty to an attribute, it also affects your skills based on that attribute. Do not recalculate the bonuses given by a skill changed in this way.
Bonus / penalty to a skill
A bonus or penalty affects only one skill, but as in the previous case, do not recalculate the modifiers that result from the skill.
The penalty also applies to carrying capacity, but do not recalculate the encumbrance penalty itself due to the reduced capacity.
Bonus / penalty to all rolls
This bonus / penalty affects all your attributes, skills and combat stats. Even if this changes your base attributes, do not recalculate any skills, because the bonus / penalty would be applied twice.
What does not change
Rolls that do not directly concern the character, e.g. its belongings.
A bonus to all rolls also does not change the advantages that a skill grants automatically (for example half of the combat style).
It has no penalty to AC or weapon durability.
It has no penalty to AC or weapon durability.
Reduced damage
Reduced damage from several sources (spells, prayers, feats) does not combine; count only the greatest reduction, unless the rules say otherwise.
